I thought I would diversify for a while and concentrate on the over fifty silver transformation.However the question is who makes that change.Is it you or is it the person engaging with you.This could just be an informal friendly chat or it could be a serious intensive interview.
So then the question arises "Who tints the grey black?"
I have spoken with many people over 50 who have been for interviews, yet despite their experience and knowledge have felt threatened and intimidated.
So why do they feel that way ?It is because they talk themselves into it. They believe they are approaching "old age" and therefor don't have the gusto to perform.In other words they need to "tint the grey black"
Not sure ? don't have the zest and willpower to continue?

Don't like Mondays?

Transform desire into performance
We all have an internal desire to achieve in one form or another.At some given moment you get this overwhelming passion to make a difference or change your current pathway.The real issue is how long does that feeling last, five or maybe ten minutes or you are one of the more passionate people and it lingers on for a day or two.
And then what?That's correct it seems to disappear into thin air. Just gone and forgotten.So what do we call that emotional excitement or you question why did it last such a short time.
There are many reasons why we get this sudden energised power surge in our mind and then let it just dissipate.We fail to harness that emotion and transform it into directional performance.

Gusto is Back
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say watch me. Yes! Just you watch me!
One needs to build a desire for change whether it is forced by circumstances or you feel now is the time.
After all why take a the road to nowhere everyday and achieve nothing at the end.
Change your direction by creating internal flexibility and personal desire. No one but yourself can ignite the fire in your belly and propel yourself to freedom.

Live your life the way you want to!
If you want to create a new direction for yourself and take a new path in your life what is your first step??
Scared? Nervous?Unsure?Lack of self belief?Self-esteem at a low ebb?
It is all about planning and mapping your next goal.How important is this in achieving that end result?Well that is exactly it,Plan ,Plan and then plan again.
Why do you want to take the same "dead-end" road everyday when you can be the master of your own destiny and success and take that step to personal freedom.
It is vital that you release that inner vibrance and energy and re-direct it down a new path of success and self-achievement.
So what is your first step to success........
Take a piece of paper and pen and start to write down all your achievements...

The Lost Generation
We keep speaking and writing about " the lost generation", however what does this really mean.Lets think beyond the statistics and look at effective and meaningful ways to encourage and support this generation of jobseekers who ultimately need to find security and move their lives forward in a positive progression.
Now this could effecitvely mean the new school leaver, graduate or the"older generation".Everyone needs support direction and purpose in their quest for gainful and meaningful employment.
Lets firstly look at the 18-24 market. This encompasses a vast variety of young adults either having just left school or newly graduated.
So where to do they go from this point. The graduate believes that having attained a degree it will be their path to immediate employment.Wrong!What a personal let down having got themselves into financial debt to attain this degree and now unable to secure employment.
Very little emphasis is placed on the route to job seeking or what is required to secure that commercial position.
The word "experience" is too often used by business and recruiters- too much or too little-never or seldom the right amount.
So what do you do ....
